Nothing to report, got a different midwife to usual so didn't get the birth weight estimated, they're also in no hurry to see me again so my next apt isn't until the day after my due date. There's certainly no signs of anything happening early so although there's only 12 days til my due date it could be up to 24 before they consider inducing if nothing happens naturally. The bump has dropped a bit, not that my asthma has eased any, and we're about 3/5ths in presentation. The midwife says I'll feel it when I'm walking when we go to 2/5ths and 1/5th so for the time being it's just carry on as normal.
The sleep patterns definitely getting worse I woke up about 3 this morning and didn't get back to sleep until about 5.30-6. So today I'm feeling over tired and thinking an afternoon nap is required!

What's happening to my body clock?
Hmmmm I guess my body is getting in preparation for the forth coming events. My mind has taken to waking up at 3.30am and not letting me get back to sleep for another hour and a half. I guess this is what they say when they go on about the body's natural way for preparing you for the sleepless nights to come!
On a slightly different note me and bump spent most of today baking making a variety of yummy puddings to sample over the next few days; cookies, butterfly cakes (albeit not very pretty ones!), marshmallow crispy squares, rocky road bars and chocolate bread and butter pudding made with the left over chocolate fondue from the weekend! I have to say I have sampled the cookies, butterfly cakes and bread and pudding butter and all are quite edible although the bread and butter pudding is slightly sickly and best eaten in small quantities!! I also did the sensible thing of starting to stock up the freezer for while I'm in hosp and after the birth. Chris now has a selection of quiche, pizza, spag bol and shep pie to pick from, shortly to be followed up with chicken casserole, sausage casserole, beef stew and chicken and ham pie - if I get round to it that is!! I also though it might be an idea to put a few loafs of bread in and some bread buns so the bread machine is now working on overdrive.
Not much planned for this this week so I guess that's a good thing based on all the food prep I need to do! I do have a midwife apt on Wed to amuse me and a free trip to the bingo on Thursday for Louise's birthday, so we're hoping for a big win and maybe the excitement of it all will bring the labour on!!

3 Weeks til the new addition
Well any one who knows me should know we're nearly at the end of my pregnancy only three weeks now, I did aim to set up a preggers website at one point and did all the design work on it but I have no idea how to upload it to our dedicated website! Oh well it's a bit late now. My aim is for me or Chris to keep the blog up to date with news and pics of babba, that way we don't bombard everyones inboxes with various group emails. Also means not having to log into both Chris and my email accounts to send messages around to different groups of friends. Anyone with a facebook account may see random updates on there manily saying how knackered we are!!!

The pregnancy it's self has been pretty straight forward, I'm pretty big but not hugely so I had a late scan to check it wasn't big for any abnormal reason but all was fine. The scan photo wasn't very clear as there was so much limbs everywhere so we got a head shot. Here's a wee timeline of the scans that were taken starting with the first 12 week scan took back in January.
Followed by the 20 week scan at the end of March
And the 28 week scan at the begining of June.
The next midwife apt is next week when she going to give an estimation of the birth weight, so watch this space.......
