Weigh in
Nathan got weighed again today he's up to 16lb 5oz now (7.4kg). That's an 8.5oz (0.23kg) increase from the last weigh in 3 weeks ago. He's now taking two lots of solids along with his normal milk intake. He'll continue with this for a couple of weeks before we up the solid and lower the milk. He still needs to try drinking from a cup, they say these days not to buy the no spill cups as it still encourages them to suck harder rather than sip at the drink. I feel that things are going to get messy!!
Jumping Jack
Here's a video of Nathan in his bouncer. I couldn't put the best video up as we're limited to 100mb uploads and the better video is 300mb!

Not much been going on with us. Nathan's a bit red in the face (and the rest of the body) as he's got an outbreak of baby eczema we're in the process of trying out different creams and medication to try reduce and control it. I'll hopefully take him to get weighed on Thursday but the last weigh in a couple of weeks ago was 15lbs, 12.5oz (7.17kg) and a length of 68cm. We're just of out to take a walk while its dry.

Nathan's travel buggy
We got Nathan a new buggy today, an umbrella type folding one which you can take on the plane with you. I had a eye on a couple of the Jane Carrera ones on Ebay but they were going for £50 even though they were used. I luckily had seen one on Gumtree though which I managed to get for £30 not bad seen as though it was originally posted at £50. The only trouble was it was in Eddleston near Peebles, so we went for a wee jolly today. As you can see they've still got a bit on snow on the ground!
For being an umbrella style buggy it's actually quite big and like our other buggy the folding mechanism is easier than standard umbrella buggies. I've given it a wash over before the wee man tries it out but it is fairly sturdy and should last for a good few years depending on how the airplane folk handle it!!

How deep is your.....
SNOW!

OK I think I under estimated the depth of the snow somewhat! I've just been out trying to clear the path a bit and make life a wee bit easier for the cats in the back garden.

The deepest point of snow in the back garden came up to my mid thigh which I reckon is about 24 inches. It's obviously not like that on the streets but it is pretty hard going to walk through especially if you're trying to push (or pull as I ended up doing) a buggy through it. Even though I was only walking to the doctors 5 minutes down the road it took me around 20 to get there admittedly at least half of that was just trying to get along our street. The bus routes are fairly clear so you can walk along the road on those routes. I only manged to fall on my arse twice today so that's not too bad going. Some how Nathan managed to fall asleep despite being bounced through the snow. The council got some snow ploughs out now though or should I say a JCB, at least the front of our drive is a bit clearer now.

Snow glorious snow
OK so I never thought I'd say it but I think I'm slightly bored of the snow now! Pretty to look at but it would be nice if I could get the car out the drive without Chris's help or needing neighbours and passing drivers to push!!!! I'm thinking that the snow is probably about 12inches on the deck where its not been disturbed, its the height of the biggest plant pots anyway.
The cats don't seem to mind though, Gizmo just bounces through it bringing snow back into the house where it sticks to his belly fur! Benji had a minor accident the other day by getting his paw stuck in the cat flap no long term damage though, thankfully. We haven't been out making a snowman yet as I have no wellies.
