Can you guess what it is yet?

Just a wee test to see who reads the blog first! Nathan #2 is due sometime between Christmas and the new year depending on who's dates you go by. My date is 30th Dec but given Nathan was 3 days early we'll say the 27th. The scan dates came through as 3rd Jan so you're guess is as good as mine. I'm sure Grandad Griff would prefer the earliest date but so as as he or she comes well before Cath and Duncan head home I'm happy! So far I've had the booking apt with the midwife, the first scan in which newbe was very active and my 15 week apt with the midwife in which me and Nathan got to here the heart beat. It was tricky to find as newbe was very active once again and kept running away from the dopler but once we were in the right position it was clear ad strong. My bloods came back OK for my rhesus negative antibodies so that's good but I'll still get the Anti-D injection at around 28 weeks to be on the safe side.

Pregnancy wise I'm about 16 weeks haven't had much sickness at all and other a brief spell of tiredness I've been fine. I've only put on around 1.4KG so everyone who kept thinking I was getting fat, it's just my body shuffling itself around! Haven't got a date for the 20 week scan but it will be mid August. We've got a few practical things to think about like moving Nathan into the other bedroom, and whether we should get a double buggy or not. We've already got two buggies so, so long as there's two adults out with the kids we can cope, and at other times we can use either of the baby carriers along with one of the buggies. Nathan needs a new car seat anyway so we'll have the two. These things are a while off yet though so plenty time to look for deals on buggies. We can reuse most of Nathan's things but will need a new cotbed for newbe.

Oh and finally yes it was planned for all those who are too polite to ask!
